Who We
Are
The International Mountain Biking Association’s (IMBA) mission
is to promote mountain bicycling opportunities that are environmentally
sound and socially responsible. We encourage low impact riding,
volunteer trail work participation, cooperation among trail user
groups and innovative trail management solutions.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, IMBA is supported by individual members,
bicycle clubs, corporate partners and bicycle retailers.
What
We Do
IMBA coordinates many projects and programs to accomplish our mission,
including the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew, the National Mountain
Bike Patrol, IMBA Trail building Schools, Federal Agency Mountain
Bike Partnerships, IMBA Epic Rides and grassroots support.
Where
Your Donation Goes
Since our inception in 1988, IMBA has spent more than $6 million
keeping trails open for mountain biking. Our staff of 17 professionals
blend national leadership with grassroots support. The IMBA network
includes more than 400 affiliated bicycle clubs and a team of volunteer
state representatives.
How You
Can Help
Membership makes it happen! IMBA depends on contributions from mountain
bikers like you - donations from individuals are critical to our
budget. When you become a member of IMBA, you invest in your mountain
biking future and directly contribute to keeping trails open for
mountain biking.
